The Giant of Provence
Visible from the Pays de Grignan – Enclave des Papes territory, the Mont Ventoux stands out as the mountain of the Provence. When we get closer, we can discover its natural resources. In the climbs, we can’t help thinking about the breakaway of the «Tour de France». Its summit of bare stones gives the illusion that it’s cover with snow all-year-long and the panorama at 1912 m is breathtaking.
During winter, the access to the summit is closed and leave the possibility to slide lovers to go skiing, snowshoeing or sledding on its slopes, from the Mont Serein station or the Chalet Reynard.
