Created in 1991, the association looks after the 500 rose bushes planted in Grignan streets.
Description
A nose for roses!
Take a stroll through the village to discover the beauty of old roses, which offer an incredible diversity of shapes, colors and fragrances, giving Grignan's old stones an incomparable charm. In spring, you can discover old roses planted in the streets and calades of Grignan, which has been classified as a Botanical Village. There are around 450 roses of 300 different varieties. Each rose is labelled with its name, the breeder's name and the variety. A plus! in May, let the members of the association guide you through the richness of this collection and this plant heritage, whose characteristics will be described in detail and whose history will be told (visit on request).
The association organizes conferences, pruning and planting workshops, and visits to gardens and nurseries.
