The village, at the foot of mountain Lance, dates back to 6.000 years. The site has traces of the first commercial exchanges between Celts and Greeks around 600 B.C. A walk to the village leads you from Sainte Anne chapel (12th century), then to the castle and the medieval town ruins and finally to Saint Marcel and Saint Menne churches built during the 18th century.
Not to miss : the archeological museum, the original settlement of Saint Marcel, public fountains.
